Where We Build
We're a West Fort Worth builder, not a far-off kit dealer. From our yard on Cattlebaron Road we build metal buildings across Fort Worth and the DFW Metroplex — close enough to walk your site, pull your permits, and stand behind the work.
A Local Builder, Not A Catalog
Our shop sits in West Fort Worth — right at the edge of the metroplex where Tarrant County rolls into Parker County. That location is a feature, not a footnote.
Faster Site Visits
When you're a short drive away, a site visit isn't a road trip. We can come walk your lot, read the grade and drainage, and talk through access in person — before a number ever lands on paper — then be back the next day if something changes.
Real Accountability
We live and work here. Our name is on a yard you can drive to and a reputation we have to protect in our own backyard. That's a different kind of accountability than a 1-800 number and a freight truck full of parts.
We Know The Local Code
City, county, and ETJ rules around North Texas aren't all the same. Because we build here every week, we know which jurisdiction governs your site and can coordinate the permitting that goes with it — so your project doesn't stall at the counter.
One Crew, Start To Finish
A kit dealer sells you steel and leaves the hard parts — sitework, foundation, erection, utilities, and code — to you. We self-perform that work with our own crews, so the same team that quotes your building is the team that puts it up.
We build close to home — on purpose.
We focus on Fort Worth and the surrounding DFW Metroplex and North Texas, not the whole state. Staying close to home is how we keep showing up on time, keeping our promises, and standing behind every building we put in the ground. If your site is in or near the metroplex, you're in our territory.
Where We Build, County By County
Here's the North Texas region we cover, organized by county. Towns with a dedicated page link straight to it; the rest are communities we build in regularly across the same counties. Don't see yours? Tell us where your site is — if it's around the metroplex, it's almost certainly in range.
Tarrant County
Our home county. Fort Worth and the towns right around our West Fort Worth yard.
Parker County
Just west on I-20 — ranch and acreage country a short drive from our shop.
Hood County
South toward Granbury and the lake — shops, storage, and barndominiums.
Johnson County
Southeast of Fort Worth — Cleburne and the towns along its edge.
Wise County
North of the metroplex — Decatur, Bridgeport, and the surrounding ranch land.
Don't see your town?
These are the counties and communities we build in most often, but the list isn't exhaustive. If you're in or around the DFW Metroplex and North Texas, you're probably still in range. Tell us where your site is and we'll let you know straight away — we'd rather be honest about distance than overpromise.
From Your Lot To Your Building
Because we're nearby and self-perform the work, the steps stay simple and the same team carries them all the way through.

Where We Build — Questions
Straight answers about the area we cover around Fort Worth & the DFW Metroplex.
What areas does CLA Metal Buildings serve?
We're based in West Fort Worth and build across Fort Worth and the DFW Metroplex. That spans Tarrant, Parker, Palo Pinto, Hood, Johnson, Wise, Erath, Somervell, Jack, and Montague counties — from Fort Worth, Mansfield, and Azle to Weatherford, Granbury, Cleburne, Decatur, Stephenville, and beyond. See the county-by-county breakdown above for the towns in each. We focus on this North Texas region around the metroplex, not the whole state, so we can show up, stay accountable, and keep your project moving.
Why does it matter that you're a local Fort Worth builder?
Because a building is a long project on real ground, not a box that ships to your door. A local builder can drive out to walk your site before quoting, read the soil and drainage in person, pull the right permits, and be back the next day if something needs attention. Far-off kit dealers sell you steel and leave the hard parts — sitework, foundation, erection, and code — to you. We self-perform that work and we're a short drive from most of North Texas.
My town isn't listed — can you still build there?
Probably, if you're in or around the DFW Metroplex. The cities we name are where we work most often, but we serve the wider North Texas region around Fort Worth. Tell us where your site is and we'll let you know straight away whether it's a good fit for us — we'd rather be honest about distance than overpromise.
Do you travel for site visits, or is everything done remotely?
We come to you. An in-person site visit is part of how we quote accurately and avoid surprises later. You can map out your building first with our free 3D Designer, then we'll set up a time to walk the actual lot, talk through access and grading, and put together a clear, itemized quote.
