This Privacy Policy explains how CLA, LLC (“CLA Metal Buildings,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with our website at clametalbuildings.com (the “Site”). We’ve kept it short and plain because our Site is simple: we don’t run advertising on it, we don’t sell data, and we only collect what you choose to send us.

The short version: The only personal information this Site handles is what you type into the quote form or send us by email — and it goes to our team so we can get back to you, nothing more. We don’t sell data. Our visitor counting (basic analytics) ships switched off; if we turn it on, it counts visits so we know which pages help people — the section below explains exactly what that means.

Information We Collect

We only receive the information you choose to send us. That can include:

  • Contact & quote details — your name, email address, phone number, and the project details you include when you submit our “Get a Quote” form, use a contact link, or email us directly.
  • Building design details — if you use our 3D Designer tool and choose to email your design or share its link, the design specifications you built are included in that message.

We do not ask you to create an account, and browsing the Site does not require giving us any personal information.

How Our Quote Form Works

When you submit the quote form, your request is processed by our website hosting provider (Netlify) and delivered to CLA’s email so we can respond. Netlify keeps a copy of form submissions in our hosting dashboard (so requests aren’t lost) and handles that data under Netlify’s Privacy Policy. If the form can’t reach our host — for example, you’re offline — the Site opens a pre-filled message in your own email program instead, and sending it is up to you.

Our 3D Designer tool runs entirely inside your web browser. The design you build is not sent anywhere unless you click the email or share-link button to send it to us yourself.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you send us only to respond to you, prepare estimates and quotes, schedule work, and provide the products and services you ask about. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information.

Cookies & Visitor Counting

Browsing this Site does not require cookies, and the Site sets none on its own.

We may use Google Analytics to count visits — things like which pages are viewed and whether visitors tap our phone number or quote button. When it is switched on, Google Analytics sets a small number of cookies to tell visits apart; we use those counts only to understand what’s helpful on the Site, never to identify you personally or to sell data. Google handles this data under Google’s Privacy Policy, and you can opt out any time with Google’s browser add-on. When visitor counting is switched off, no analytics run and no analytics cookies are set.

Third-Party Services

A few standard third parties are involved in delivering a website, and each handles data under its own privacy policy:

  • Web hosting & forms (Netlify) — hosts the Site, processes quote-form submissions as described above, and (like virtually all hosts) may keep basic, automatically generated server logs — such as IP addresses and pages requested — for security and reliability.
  • Google Fonts — our Site loads fonts from Google so the pages display consistently. Your browser’s request to Google may include your IP address, governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.
  • Google Analytics — only if visitor counting is switched on, as described above.
  • Social media & review links — links to our Facebook, Instagram, and Better Business Bureau profiles take you to those sites, which have their own privacy practices.
  • Email — when you email us, your message travels through your email provider and ours.

How We Protect Your Information

We take reasonable steps to keep the information you send us secure. However, no method of transmitting information over the internet or email is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.

Children’s Privacy

Our Site is intended for a general business audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your Choices

You’re always in control of what you send us. If you’ve contacted us and would like us to update or delete the information you provided, just reach out using the details below and we’ll take care of it.

Changes to This Policy
